Gucci Mane has always been one to say outlandish things, but he has been on a prolonged rant over the last three days, and has claimed to have slept with many women in the music industry, including Nicki Minaj, Ciara, and more.
Not only is Gucci going after females, but he is also claiming that he is the only real rapper left in the game. He sent out tweets saying that rappers including, Eminem, T.I. and others were fake, and saying he doesn't mess with them anymore.
Gucci was recently in the news for his feud with his ex-best friend Waka Flocka Flame over ownership of their label Bricksquad. Since then it seems as though Gucci doesn't want any more friends within the music industry.
The responses to this twitter rant have been fast and furious. Tyga and Nicki Minaj both claimed that Gucci is bitter because they both turned down giving Gucci a verse for his new album. Gucci claimed to have slept with Tyga's baby momma, and Nicki Minaj, to which Nicki responded "May God strike me dead if I ever had sex with that man," reportsHiphopDX.
Ciara and Iggy Azalea are two other females Gucci claims he slept with, and they both denied the claims on twitter. T.I. had an interesting response, after being called out for not being real, saying "Only a fool acts reckless for publicity," according to Hotnewhiphop.com, a sentiment that Nicki Minaj also agreed with.
In what seems to be related news, Gucci has recently been dropped from Atlantic Records, the record label he used to call home. The label hasn't provided a reason officially as to why he's no longer with them reports XXL, but it would appear as though his recent rant might have something to do with it.
Gucci seems to be making a lot of enemies over the past few days, and while this may seem like a good idea because he is gaining publicity, it may hurt his music. Hip hop is all about collaborations, and in his rant he has called out a bunch of top notch hip hop artists, which will most likely close the possibility of him ever working with them.
The ranting is probably far from over, and it is yet to be seen if any of the allegations he's made are true, but judging by the responses it seems as though Gucci has really put a big target on his back.
