JJ Abrams is known for many things, but being he's always notorious for keeping his projects as secretive as possible. That even goes for his next big blockbuster Star Wars: Episode VII. Now it's understandable that he's been keeping quiet due to the fact he's hard at work on the project, but fans are begging for answers to the rumors, and just some information to keep the time moving. Abrams has finally broke the silence.
In a recent interview with EW he says “I would say we are working really hard to make a movie that feels as emotional and authentic and exciting as possible.” He also went on to say how much of an impact Star Wars has made on his life. Abrams was actually more of a Star Wars geek as a kid than he was a Trekkie.
Of course the question that is on everyone's mind is if Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be part of the Star Wars saga as well. He would be a more than welcome face to the franchise and according to Spinoff Abrams is more than enjoying stirring that rumor pot. Abrams neither confirms nor denies the star being involved in the film. Only time will tell, Star Wars: Episode VII will land in theaters in 2015.
