Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson sure do know how to perform an amazing concert. Both took over the stage at Austin's Amphitheater performing a heck of show.

After winning the first season of American Idol, Kelly Clarkson has become a female icon. The singer, songwriter, performed and incredible show on Sept. 18 at Austin’s Amphitheatre. Singing songs from her number one album “Breakaway,” which sold over 12 million copies worldwide. However, Kelly wasn’t the only one performing that night. Following her outstanding performance was Maroon 5, an American pop rock band, known for their lead singer, Adam Levine.

Wearing a lilac colored dress, Kelly Clarkson took on the stage kicking off the concert with her powerhouse song, “Stronger.” Even those with reserved seating were on their feet singing along to all her songs. After performing her country hit “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” acoustically, which originally is a duet with country’s famous singer Jason Aldean; Kelly took a moment to thank her fans. “Thank you for supporting music, Austin. Thank y’all so much for coming out and supporting us.”

After sharing with the crowd about her new engagement, the bride to be threw out a few curse words setting a bad example on young fans at the concert. But then made a comeback and said, “at least I’m not naked on a Wrecking Ball. I’m not saying she didn’t look good, but I was like WHAT?” referring to Disney star, Miley Cyrus’s new video.

Kelly did not leave her fans disappointed. She covered most of her hits like, “Walk Away,” “Mr. Know it All,” her new single “Tie the Knot,” and closed off with “Since you been gone.”

After patiently waiting for Maroon 5 to come out, girls yelled across the arena “We want ADAM!” As soon as the lights dimmed, the entire crowd stood back on their feet yelling at the top of their lungs.

Maroon 5 came onstage and hit it off with the 2003 hit “This Love.” Fans were going wild for lead singer, Adam Levine, as he change wardrobe from a hippie Hawaiian shirt to his most famous, attractive look--a plain white muscle shirt showing off his sexy tattoos. The band members continued playing songs from their first album Songs about Jane like, “Harder to Breath,” and “Sunday Morning.”

Adam gave out an electric guitar to one lucky fan sitting in the front row. While everyone else became utterly jealous, including me, the band began to play another song, which debuted last year “Love Somebody.”

Other famous hits played at the concert were “Payphone,” “Moves Like Jagger.” They closed off their show with one of their coolest record ever “She will be loved.” Seriously, one of the best concerts ever.
