Superstar Rihanna got booed when she took the stage Thursday night by an Australian crowd for showing up a full hour and 20 minutes late.
She was supposed to be performing at 9 p.m. at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, but due to her tardiness, some fans chose to leave.
When Rihanna's set first began, she spent the time performing unknown hits and the crowd wasn't exactly happy about that.
Sometime during the performance, Rihanna addressed her lateness, saying something about how it takes long to get to Australia, according to Daily Mail UK.
A few fans took to social networks to let their frustration out. "[N]ot impressed with rhianna at all.......left concert without seeing her and she was over an hour and a half late...." posted Twitter user @leahmac677, reported USA Today.
As the show progressed, the frustrated boos turned into cheers from the audience.
Rihanna is still traveling the world and performing on her Diamonds World Tour.
