Dolly Parton was involved in a fender bender in Nashville this morning, which resulted in the country singer being rushed to the hospital. She was later released to go home and rest her minor injuries.
According to TMZ, Parton was riding in a car while her friend Judy Ogle drove, when all of a sudden, another vehicle slammed into their car at an intersection. The details of the accident are not yet known, but Ogle officials say Ogle was not at fault.
CNN reports that Parton and Ogle were rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for attention, but luckily escaped with minor injuries. Diane Lish, 64, who was driving the other vehicle, was treated at a different hospital, and also walked away with a few non-serious injuries.
Parton took to Twitter to assure her fans and loved ones that she is okay, just tired and sore, after her fender bender.
