The Jonas Brothers shocked fans earlier this month when they cancelled their tour due to a “deep-rift.” Since the news broke, rumors have been flying that the brothers might break-up the band.

According to E! Online, the brothers have yet to sit down and hash out their feelings after canceling the tour.

A source revealed to E! News that Kevin, Joe, and Nick had plans to talk things through, but Joe decided to bail. The source said, “were going to meet up in New York over the weekend, but Joe decided to stay in Los Angeles.”

The middle brother has recently been spending time in L.A. with his uncle, Josh Miller, and Demi Lovato’s sober manager Mike Bayer. There has been no official report of whether Bayer is simply friends with Joe or possibly helping him through some darker times.

The tour cancellation announcement is supposed to be strictly creative differences, not any personal disagreements. An insider spoke about a “broad disagreement within the group about what direction to take the music,” but they are “brothers, and that will never change.”

Cambio reports that Jonas brothers sudden cancellation could cost them millions of dollars.

The executive vice president at insurance broker Robertson Taylor, Carol Thornhill, said, "It really depends on how their [insurance] policy is tailored, but generally speaking, there are cancellation policies that cover things beyond their control."

Thornhill continued, “Calling the whole thing off because they're having artistic differences, however, is something they have control over, as she explained, "If they canceled because they had a rift within the band, that's something that's not insurable, because that's within their control...There is no insurance that is going to respond to something that is within their control."

Best of luck to the Jonas Brothers and their fans! Hopefully we will have some answers soon!
