Victor Rasuk has joined the cast of Fifty Shades of Grey as Christian Grey's romantic rival.
Deadline has exclusively revealed that Rasuk will play Jose. With the role of Jose cast, Universal Pictures has filled up the main cast for the film.
Jose is Anastasia Steele's classmate and a photographer, who as her close friend vies for the main character's affections opposite Grey, but predictably loses out in EL James' novel.
Rasuk has appeared in Raising Victor Vargas, the upcoming Godzilla reboot and HBO's How to Make It In America.
With the main cast more or less fleshed out, the movie looks set to begin production Dec. 2. Originally the production was set to begin in November, but that was pushed back after the original lead actor dropped out. The role vacated by Sons of Anarchy Charlie Hunnam was quickly filled by Jamie Dornan.
Dornan likely needs a little time to prepare for the role before jumping in. Rasuk joins recently cast Luke Grimes, Dornan and Dakota Johnson.
