ABC has landed Israeli talent competition reality format, Rising Star. ABC has given a 10-episode order for the talent driven reality show.

Deadline reported that Rising Star is the first international singing format to the U.S. since NBC, debuted The Voice.

Rising Star has been a must have property since it launched back in Israel earlier this fall.

The Hollywood Reporter added that Leading Israeli broadcast network Keshet launched its second annual InTV (Innovation in Television) conference Monday morning in Jerusalem. The talk of the conference was about Rising Star.

Rising Star broke rating records on Keshet Channel 2, scoring a 49.4% household share.

Keshet International and DC Media, the parent company of Dick Clark productions, will be at the helm of this talent competition. DC Media has worked on the hit show, So You Think You Can Dance.

ABC is set to debut the U.S. version of this show in the upcoming summer season. ABC had released Duets but the show was not a hit. ABC has not yet had a hit in the singing reality TV competition arena.
