George Zimmerman has posted $9,000 bail following a court appearance in his domestic abuse case. Zimmerman is the former Neighborhood Watch volunteer who was acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin and has had several run-ins with the law since then.

As previously reported, Zimmerman was arrested Monday after police received disturbance call from his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe. According to CBS News, Zimmerman was charged with aggravated assault, battery, domestic violence and criminal mischief.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Scheibe told Seminole County Sheriff deputies that he cocked and pointed a shotgun at her. She told him to move out, but he responded by breaking a glass-top table and pushing her out of the house. “I need police right now,” she said in her 911 call. “He's in my house breaking all my (stuff) because I asked him to leave. He has his fricking gun breaking all of my stuff right now.”

She could be heard telling Zimmerman, "This is not your house. Get out of my house, Do not push me out of my house.”

Zimmerman also called 911, claiming that she had “gone crazy on me” and “She just started smashing stuff, taking stuff that belonged to me.” According to The AP, he also claimed that Scheibe was pregnant, but Seminole County Chief Deputy Dennis Lemma said that this was not true.

On Tuesday, Zimmerman was in court and the judge set bail at $9,000. He was released from jail after posting bail, but he can’t leave Florida or have any contact with the alleged victim. He also cannot have any firearms or ammunition.

Since Zimmerman was acquitted of the shooting of Martin, Zimmerman has had several run-ins with law enforcement. He was caught speeding twice and had an altercation with Shellie, his estranged wife.
