In a new behind-the-scenes video, Beyonce gives her fans a closer look inside some of the music videos off of her surprise Beyonce album, including “Drunk in Love” with her husband, Jay Z.
Beyonce released 17 new music video and 14 songs on the record-breaking album, and “Drunk in Love” was one she recorded about a year ago.
"He had this really hard beat and this song called, 'Drunk," she said of a new producer named Detail, EnStarz reports. "And I'm like, 'that's what I want to sing.' So I freestyled the verse and Jay went in and started flowing out his verse. We just had a party."
She also said Timbaland worked on the song with them. “It was so great because it wasn't about any ego..We were just trying to have fun,” she explained.
Beyonce revealed she recorded over 80 songs for the album and that she tried to make the videos as natural and impromptu as possible.
"It was just us two and it was perfect," she said of the “Drunk in Love” video.
