Even one of Beyonce’s producers on her new album Beyonce, Ryan Tedder, didn’t know when she would dropping the surprise hit album.

Tedder produced her song “XO” from the new album and said in an interview that he found out an hour and a half before it hit iTunes that she was releasing it.

“I knew 90 minutes before it dropped. Ninety minutes. And I said nothing because I love Beyonce and I don't want her to hate me," Tedder said on Tuesday’s finale of NBC’s The Voice, AP reports.

He went on to say, "I heard a rumor and then I didn't say anything. I told my wife, 'I think Beyonce's album is dropping in 90 minutes,' and then I knew that 'XO' was on the album. I knew it was a single. I didn't know if it was first or second. I didn't know anything, and then today I found out that it was the lead."

After Beyonce became available, the singer made history by becoming the only female singer to have her first five solo studio albums reach the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album sold 617,000 copies through the week of Dec 15.
