Daft Punk, the French electronic music duo, debuted the video for the band’s third single off of their recent Random Access Memories album released earlier this year.

The track and video feature Strokes front-man Julian Casablancas in the story of a love at first sight for two statues placed across the same museum exhibit, so close yet so far from each other. Daft Punk manages to put together a beautifully tragic story based off these inanimate objects. A particular cameo is embedded in the video where two familiar helmets are seen amongst some dusty artifacts.

The band’s fourth studio release, Random Access Memories, has been Daft Punk’s most successful album yet selling 339,000 copies in it’s first week, and nearly 700,000 copies to date.

The album also received heavy respect from the music community, garnering Daft Punk with five Grammy Award nominations, including album of the year. It seems as though Daft Punk is back and better than ever.
