Two men from Indianapolis have been charged in the murder of Iraq war vet, James Vester. Vester, a 12 year veteran with the National Guard, was shot in a parking lot on Wednesday. He had planned to buy an iPad for his parents via a Criaglist ad.

The men allegedly responsible for this crime, Tyron Kincade, 19, and his 18-year-old brother, Tyshaune, were arrested on Friday after phone records, connected them to this crime, as well as four similar attacks according to the NY Daily News.

Both brothers are being held without bond in the Marion County Jail on charges of murder and robbery. They are both scheduled to appear in court Tuesday morning.

Vester’s colleagues had only kind words to speak of the victim. "He had a huge heart and he was the type of person you could depend on," said Sgt. Maj. Tony Williams of the National Guard, according to CNN.

A fundraiser on YouCaring.com has been started for Vester’s family.
