The comedy, Ride Along staring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube is looking strong after bringing in over one million dollars at the box office following late night showings on Thursday.

Variety reported that the film made $1.060 million during late night showings.

Ride Along has been predicted to open strong over the holiday weekend. Estimates are in the high 30 millions for the buddy comedy.

Fox also had late night showings on Thursday for Devil's Due which made around $300,000.

The Hollywood Reporter added that it is already being predicted that Ride Along is expected to beat Paramount's Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit which stars Chris Pine.

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit is being estimated to earn around 20 million, also in theaters this weekend is Lone Survivor which surprised the box office last weekend with its strong surge in ticket sales.

Oscar nominees, Gravity and 12 Years a Slave are also expected to enter into the box office numbers.
