GLAAD, or Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, announced their nominees for the 25th annual awards including Dallas Buyers Club, Blue is the Warmest Color for Oscar nominated movies, and TV shows Orange is the New Black and The Fosters.

According to The Hollywood Reporter ABC lead broadcast networks with three nominations, and MSNBC topped cable networks with four nominations. The GLAAD Media Awards honor media for their fair, accurate and representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives.

USA Today noted the nomination for Orange is the New Black is a first for streaming provider Netflix.

GLAAD has a full list of the nominees on their website, and other notable nominations are Glee and new show Brooklyn Nine-Nine for Outstanding Comedy Series and Lady Gaga, Elton John, and Tegan and Sarah for Outstanding Music Artist.

The GLAAD Media Awards will be held on Saturday April 12 in Los Angeles at the Beverly Hilton and May 3 in New York at the Waldorf Astoria New York.
