The Seattle Seahawks are hoping for a spot in the upcoming Super Bowl but before the game can be decided, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be taking over the stage at halftime. Seattle will be playing at home and is likely to get a boost from the home crowd.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis announced their performance on the Seahawks official web page.
The "Can't Hold Us" duo will be playing for their home town when they take the field during halftime. The band is no stranger to promoting their hometown of Seattle, in the music video for "White Walls" Cortez Kennedy’s No. 96 jersey, Radio News added.
The front office for the Seattle Seahawks is also a fan of Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, the song "Can't Hold Us" is played every time the team scores a touchdown, Billboard reported.
Seahawks and the 49ers are set to take the field around 6:30 p.m. and will be playing for spot in the Super Bowl representing the NFC.
