The family, presented by aliases: Paula, Jeff and Ashley were all stunned to find out that a man at the clinic replaced Paula’s husband’s sperm with his own. The man that replaced the sperm is also a convicted felon. They have reached out and urged others to make sure they have not been victimized by the same man at the clinic which has been closed for over a decade. 2. Women who have an increased chance of developing breast cancer will be offered free preventative care under the Affordable Care Act. This portion of the new healthcare law will make it possible for women at risk to have drugs that will help prevent development at no out of pocket cost. Obamacare is also urging people who are covered to go for HIV screenings, vision screenings and counseling for obesity.

A 50 year anniversary of the launch of the tobacco control efforts was made this week and the efforts have saved approximately eight million lives. 50 years ago the Surgeon General released “Smoking and Health,” warning Americans against the dangers of smoking. Though rates of smoking have been cut in half in the US, one in five Americans continue to smoke today. Tobacco control efforts have been urged to continue to increase in years to come, to save even more lives.

4. The myth that everyone has heard that coffee dehydrates you has been busted! Researchers at Birmingham University did a study in which coffee consumption did not effect those who drank it at all. In fact, coffee was found to be just as hydrating as water as long as it is consumed in moderation. Sophie Killer, lead author of the study. "Our research aimed to establish if regular coffee consumption, under normal living conditions, is detrimental to the drinker’s hydration status."

5. Doctors also found that a simple blood test may be able to detect a heart attack before it occurs. The test is able to identify particular cells that are known to be found after heart attacks. Identifying someone who is at risk for a heart attack is important, especially when every minute counts. It can also make people who are experiencing chest pain at ease if the test proves that they are not at risk.
