Beyonce put on a much different performance at the BRIT Awards than she did at this year’s Grammys, singing her song “XO” for the first time at an awards event.
The BRIT Awards took place at London’s O2 Arena on Wednesday night, where she put on a toned down performance of the song.
According to Huffington Post, Beyonce sat down and belted out “XO” off of her self-titled album while fireworks were displayed on big screens behind her.
Beyonce has sang “XO” twice before but only at her own concerts, as part of the Mrs. Carter Show world tour. First, she sang it in Chicago on Dec. 13, the day she shocked the world and dropped a surprise album. She performed it again during her show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Beyonce hit the stage with her husband, Jay Z, to perform their hit “Drunk In Love,” at the Grammys. This performance was much more sexy and seductive.
