Step aside Miley—Billy Ray wants his second chance in the spot light.

Billy Ray Cyrus came out with the 1992 country hit, “Achy Breaky Heart” and ever since, has only been known for being crazy Miley’s father. He attempted to revive his fame, not by sticking out his tongue or being risqué with a foam finger—but by making another song, “Achy Breaky 2.”

In the music video, Larry King informs the world an “unidentified object” soaring over Europe. Then, Cyrus’ release along side rapper, Buck 22 begins. Yes—“Achy Breaky 2” is a rap song. Buck 22, while not well known, is the son of singer, Dionne Warwick, and drummer, Bill Elliott, as reported in Rolling Stone

The concept of the video is extremely strange, as is this duo. Cyrus and Buck 22 get beamed up to an intergalactic party with barely clothed women and jam out to “Achy Breaky 2.”

Miley is known for her outlandish actions—maybe she learns them from her father.

In a statement from Buck 22, he explains how the odd duo came to be.

“He didn't have a clue that I had already gone into the lab and cooked up a demo of what I thought would be a fun EDM/hip-hop styled version, which at the time only had a sample from the original of his voice. He liked what he heard and, weeks later, arrived at the session to record this track,” according to > Complex.com
