Colin Farrell, who will soon be back in theaters with Winter’s Tale on Valentine’s Day, will be starring in The Lobster, the English-language debut from Dogtooth director Yorgos Lanthimos. Oscar winner Rachel Weisz will co-star.

The Lobster is set in a dystopian future, where people need to be matched with partners in order to live, reports Deadline. Shooting will start on March 24 in Ireland.

Farrell and Weisz are the headliners, but many other top-shelf stars have lined up to work with Lanthimos. Skyfall’s Ben Whishaw and Blue is the Warmest Color star Lea Seydoux will also star, along with Olivia Colman, Ariane Labed and Angeliki Papoulia. Jason Clarke was previously attached, but had other commitments.

According to TheWrap, the casting was announced by Protagonist Pictures on Monday. It will be sold to potential distributors at the European Film Market during the Berlin Film Festival this week.

Lanthimos was nominated for an Oscar for 2009’s Dogtooth. The Greek director wrote The Lobster with Efthimis Filippou.

Farrell is coming off an acclaimed supporting performance in Saving Mr. Banks and stars in Winter’s Tale, which opens on Valentine’s Day. Among his other upcoming films is Miss Julie with Jessica Chastain.

As for Weisz, she was just in Oz The Great and Powerful and appeared on the stage in the Broadway hit Betrayal.
