Despite Justin Bieber’s recent personal turmoil, his professional career is flourishing. His music video for “Baby” has hit 1 billion views on Vevo, making it the most-watched video for that platform.

“Baby” was the 19-year-old singer’s debut single, which put his career on the map. The video is the first to become 10x CERTIFIED on Vevo.

USA Today reports this feat comes just about a week ahead of his 20th birthday.

"Justin Bieber's 'Baby' music video reaching one billion views and 10x certified across Vevo is a huge milestone, both for Justin and Vevo," said Doug McVehil, SVP of content and programming for Vevo.

"'Baby' premiered across Vevo in February 2010, just two months after our platform launched. Four years later, Vevo is the number one music video platform in 13 countries on web, mobile/tablet and TV apps, and Justin is a household name. We really feel like Vevo and Justin have grown together,” McVehil told Billboard.

In 2012, the 100 million milestone program was introduced and Bieber’s "Never Say Never," "One Time," "Somebody To Love," "Never Let You Go," "One Less Lonely Girl," and "Love Me" are part of that as well.

Bieber now as 11 certified Vevo music videos.
