Canada’s October’s Very Own or OVO Festival announced Outkast and Drake will headline the two day event in August.
According to Rolling Stone, Drake produces the annual Toronto event, now in its fifth year, and has pulled in some heavy hitters in year’s past including Kanye West, Diddy, TLC, Nicki Minaj, and Snoop Dogg, to name a few.
With only the poster revealed on the festival’s website shows Outkast will headline the first day, August 3, and Drake the second night, August 4, there has been no hint as far as supporting acts, only listed as “special guests.”
While speculation and rumors will begin of supporting acts, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are surely not going to be invited. After the duo’s Grammy win for Best Rap Album, Macklemore texted Drake stating he should have won the award, later which Drake called “wack as f—k”.
The two-day concert will take place at Toronto's Molson Canadian Amphitheatre and tickets go on sale February 21st.
