Pope Francis welcomed over 25,000 soon-to-be-wed couples to Saint Petersburg Square at the Vatican to give a special talk on love for Valentine’s Day.
The Pope gave them some good advice like "Do not end any day without asking each other for forgiveness, having peace back in your house and your family. Never end a single day without being at peace with each other. This is the secret in order to preserve love,” according to NY Daily News.
The Pontiff also took to twitter to reach couples that couldn’t come. He tweeted, "Dear young people, don't be afraid to marry. A faithful and fruitful marriage will bring you happiness," on his official @Pontifex account, according to CNN.

The big day was supposed to be held in the Vatican auditorium, however because of the pouring response, the Pontiff decided to have the service outside, which was the first day to by sunny. To even go to the event, the couples had to take Catholic courses on marriage. In the course of the day, three couples got to ask questions that were answered directly by Pope Francis. Soon-to-be-wed couples came from around the world to experience this day, which is named after St. Valentine.
