Seven years after the series finale of Gilmore Girls, Lauren Graham talks a possible reunion of the beloved sitcom.
On March 24, the actress - and former mom of Alexis Bledel - held an AMA chat on Reddit to answer questions about her new book, Someday, Someday, Maybe. Without any surprise the messages soon turned to her old character, Lorelei Gilmore.
Graham didn’t actually say that there will be a theatrical version of the CW drama but instead say, “If a movie version could be as good as we’d all want it to be, I’d love to play that character again.”
However, the comments kept growing and persistently talked about seeing the show on the big screen in which Graham added, “I honestly don’t know [about a movie]. I appreciate how many have asked. That character was so special – I wonder what happens to her too!”
This wouldn’t be the first time a TV show migrated to the movie theaters. Recently, Veronica Mars transitioned from television to movies 10 years after it ended.
The actress’ rep didn’t respond to Entertainment Weekly’s request for comment.
