Enrique Iglesias has teamed up with crowdfunding/viral video engine Vube for a chance to win $10,000.

According to Latino news site Voxxi, Iglesias has teamed up with Vube for its one year anniversary giving fans and creative artists a chance to make a video for Iglesias latest release with Pitbull “I’m a Freak”. The top five most “liked” videos will win prize money, with the number one spot winning $10,000.

Vube marries the idea of crowdfunding, much like Kickstarter, with a video engine like Vevo, giving new creative artists an outlet to share their work virally while also gaining money to support their music. In only its short time online Vube has been ranked in the top 70 domains worldwide and receives over 20 million visitors on a daily basis.

Vube recently ran a similar contest with fans covering T-Pain’s “Up Down (Do This All Day)”. The exposure received from Vube helped push the track to a Top Ten charting position on Billboard's Hot R&B Songs.

The contest for submitting covers of “I’m a Freak” runs through the end of March. Enrique’s upcoming album Sex + Love is scheduled for release on March 18.
