X Factor finalists' Fifth Harmony have been on tour opening up for fellow X Factor judge Demi Lovato on the "Neon Lights" tour but the girls are now putting their attention towards their debut album.

The group signed a joint deal with Simon Cowell's Syco label and LA Reid's Epic following their time on the talent competition, Broadway World reported.

Fifth Harmony group member Lauren Jauregui in a recent interview spoke about the upcoming album and the recording process. "We've started recording and getting into that process. We have shifted the lane a bit and made it a more mature sound, because obviously, we're growing up too. In April, we're going to record and immerse ourselves in that," said Jauregui.

The album has been described as being less pop driven and will feature a more rhythmic natural feeling, Billboard reported.

The female group came in third on the X Factor back in 2012 and following their time on the show the group released an EP, Better Together and they did well on the charts with their single "Miss Movin' On."

Fifth Harmony's Dinah Jane Hansen spoke about what it is like to be on tour with Lovato and what is like performing night after night. "I love shows where you feel like you got to know the person after you've watched it, Demi's definitely more experienced than us in terms of performing and being in this industry. We've been able to watch her perform a couple times, and it's awesome, the amount of energy that she brings to the stage every single time she performs. We admire that about her a lot," said Hansen.
