This afternoon, many who use Google’s Gchat and Google Drive services are currently down. The internet search giant acknowledged that there is an error and their people are working on it.
Reports of the services going down started around noon Monday, with users going to Twitter to complain. Mashable notes that GMail itself is still working.
Although Google hasn’t posted any updates on its Apps Status Dashboard, Google did tell Mashable that it is looking into an issue with Google+ Hangouts. “We will provide more information shortly,” Google added.
As The Huffington Post points out, some have complained about not being able to send messages on Gchat and others have noted that Google Drive is down as well.

This is Google’s first big service disruption since January, when two outages happened in two weeks. Google’s Gmail has 425 million active users, but at least they won’t be lost when trying to email anyone.
