Kiss and Def Leppard will be going on tour this summer. Together, the bands will pay more than 40 concert dates. They will start their U.S. tour on June 23 in West Valley City, Utah. The tour will conclude on August 31.

Paul Stanley of Kiss told the Associated Press, "You have two bands who to one degree or another have stood the test of time and put them together and you'll have a great night of music. We're living in a time now where everyone wants more for their money, and that's understandable. So, when you can get two bands to collaborate together, we couldn't pick a better band for this tour than Def Leppard to go out with us."

This announcement comes just days after Paul Stanley spoke to the press about his induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band announced that they will not be performing at the ceremony this year.

Def Leppard front man, Joe Elliott said that he will be releasing The Further Adventures Of… with his new band, Down ‘N Outz on April 21.

Tickets for the Summer tour featuring Kiss and Def Leppard will go on sale this Friday.
