Earlier this week Victoria Justice shared that she was hitting up the studio with member of Big Time Rush, James Maslow.
On Wednesday, March 26, Maslow then took on the job of revealing what exactly the two were working on in the studio.
He exclusively told E! News that they were working on a cover of “Let It Go” from Disney’s Frozen.
While doing some shopping in Vince in West Hollywood, the direction of the song came into discussion; Maslow revealed that their cover will be “more Demi Lovato than Idina Menzel.”
The 21-year-old pop singer, Demi Lovato, had also recorded her vocals to the popular track on the movie’s official soundtrack.
Despite the comment, Maslow admitted that he is a big fan of both versions of the song.
“Idina Menzel- or what is it, Azeem Dameel? Adele Dazeem, yeah,” Maslow said jokingly at John Travolta’s mishap at the Oscar’s when pronouncing Menzel’s name. “So for those of you who are more familiar with her as that name, she killed it at the Oscars.”
Justice then decided to make her own announcement on Instagram in which she promised that the fans will be able to get “see/hear” what they’ve been working on soon.
