Fans of the movie, Prometheus, found out that a new writer will be joining the team of the sci-fi film. Screenwriter Michael Green has signed on to work on the sequel to the 20th Century Fox movie.

The science fiction film boasts new storylines. The tentatively titled, Prometheus 2, is set to star Michael Fassbender, Noomi Rapace, and Danny Webb. According to The Guardian, the new screenwriter is working on a story that features several different versions of David, played by Fassbender. Green is also working on a sequel for the sci-fi film, Blade Runner.

In the first round of Prometheus, Ridley Scott directed a sci-fi adventure featuring a team of explorers to discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth. They fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race. The original Prometheus starred Noomi Rapace, Logan Marshall-Green, and Michael Fassbender. It was nominated for Best Achievement in Visual Effects. According to The Wrap, Jack Paglen wrote the original draft of the screenplay.

Production for the sequel to Prometheus is set to begin this fall, and will be released in March 2016.
