Cameron Diaz's latest movie The Other Woman topped Friday at the box office, while Paul Walker's Brick Mansions has started off with somewhat decent numbers.

The 20th Century Fox film Other Woman earned $9.3 million, easily dethroning Captain America: The Winter Soldier for the top spot. Forbes reports that the $40 million film is projected to earn $25 million for its opening weekend. The film has done well overseas where it opened last week in Australia, Singapore and New Zealand, earning $5.3 million.

Marvel's The Winter Soldier is still going relatively strong and earned another $4.5 million at the box office. The film is estimated to earn about $15 million, which would put its domestic cume at $222 million. Rio 2 managed $3.28 million and might make $11.75 million for the weekend. The film is nearing the $100 million mark, but won't likely make it by Sunday.

The poorly reviewed remake of Luc Besson's District B13, Brick Mansions, earned $3.6 million, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film is projected to earn a little under $10 million. The film cost $28 million and was Walker's second-to-last film.

The last new wide release, The Quiet Ones, was just as its name suggests, quiet. The Lionsgate and Exclusive Media horror film grossed $1.5 million, and is projected to earn about $3.6 million for the weekend.

Last weekend's new film, Transcendence only mustered $1.25 million and could make $4 million for the weekend. The film has flopped hard and may only earn a little over $15 million through Sunday.
