Breaking Bad’s Heisenberg, known in real life as Bryan Cranston, will embark on the journey of writing a memoir about his personal experiences within life and work as an actor.
The memoir will be published by Simon & Schuster imprint Scribner, in Fall 2015. The award-winning actor’s memoir "tell the stories of my life and reveal the secrets and lies that I lived with for six years shooting Breaking Bad," The NY Times
Cranston has some practice with writing and a few screenwriting projects under his belt. Nan Graham, scribner publisher states that Bryan Cranston "writes the way he acts – with fierce commitment, intelligence and humor," according to Rolling Stone.
Cranston built his career off of his role as Hal in the hit sitcom, Malcolm in the Middle. His next major role erupted quickly as he started playing Walter White in 2008—a science teacher who became diagnosed with cancer and felt he had to turn to cooking meth to support his family.
After AMC’s wildly popular TV series, Breaking Bad came to an end, Cranston has dabbled with film and theater. He’s currently on Broadway in the play All the Way as President Lyndon B. Johnson and will appear in the Godzilla remake.
