Joe Walsh, member of the Eagles, was on hand yesterday to honor Ozzy Osbourne at the MAP MusiCares benefit in Los Angeles, and the music legend took time to discuss new music and what it was like working with the Foo Fighters.
Walsh and Osbourne have a long history of music and friendship together that expands over decades.
Billboard reported that Walsh, who is now sober, has been keeping busy with a variety of projects including working with the Eagles.
"I've been playing on other people's stuff. I was a Foo Fighter for two days, I joined the Foo Fighters for two days and I played on a track of theirs that's gonna come out." Walsh went on to explain. He plays guitar on the upcoming track. "I played on a War song, I love War. They sent me a song and I put guitar on that, so I'm a low rider and a Foo Fighter."
Even with the focus on other projects, music with The Eagles is also in production. "We've got some stuff in the can," said Walsh.
Rock Cellar Magazine added that Grohl will be getting his own HBO show and that the Foo Fighters are already working on their next album.
