Two students attending P.S. 315 in Flatbush Brooklyn were arrested for putting rat poison in their teacher’s water bottle on Monday, May 19, 2014. This school is known as the School of Performing Arts and houses 841 students.

The two students put this substance into the 5th grade teacher’s water bottle – they are 9 and 12 years of age. They are being charged with reckless endangerment, assault and criminal possession of a weapon according to MyFoxNY. Police plan to test the bottle to discover exactly what made the teacher sick.

The teacher claimed that she felt nauseous and another student of her told her what they two kids have done. She went to her doctor to be treated, then reported the incident at the 70th precinct station via NYPost. Earlier this month in England there was a similar incidence. Two kids, both age 10, poured a bleach-like substance in their teacher’s coffee cup as her back was turned.
