Authorities said a 16-year-old Virginia teenager admitted that he killed his parents because they took away his iPod as punishment.

According to CBSDC, Vincent Parker pleaded guilty on Wednesday to two second-degree murder counts.

WTKR reported that the teen said he killed Carol and Wayne Parker because he was fed up with their punishments which included taking away his iPod and other items.

“I just remember getting mad,” he told investigators. “It’s all from my dad. All this stuff like my dad taking away my iPod and stuff.”

The honor-roll student described the gruesome details of the murders committed on Dec. 19, 2013.

He said that he stabbed his mother in the eye and beat her to death with a baseball bat. He then confessed that he stabbed his father multiple times and hit him with a crowbar.

His 55-year-old father managed to call for help and explained to police what happened. He and his wife died a short time later at a local hospital.

Parker will stand trial as an adult and is expected to be sentenced in September.
