A Massachusetts mother claims that a JetBlue flight attendant refused to let her young daughter get up and use the bathroom while the plane was sitting on the runway, resulting in the girl urinating on the seat.

Jennifer Deveraux says her 3-year-old was not allowed up during a delay by a rude flight attendant, WBZ-TV reports. The flight was delayed half an hour and her 3-year-old desperately needed to use the restroom.

But when she tried to get up, an attendant "snapped at me." Deveraux said the woman told her, "No sit down." She wasn't even allowed to stand up and try to clean up the mess.

"I said, 'please give me a break. My daughter had an accident because you wouldn't let me take her to the bathroom. After I clean it up I will sit down.'"

The flight attendant then went and talked to the pilot who announced they would be returning to the gate due to a non-compliant passenger. However, other passengers sided with Deveraux and she was allowed to remain on the plane.

JetBlue said it is investigating the matter, but tweeted that "there are very strict FAA regulations when a plane is on the tarmac," but has not elaborated.
