Taylor Swift introduced her kitten, Olivia Benson, on Instagram this morning.
The photo that she posted shows the white kitten, Olivia, on Swift’s lap. She captioned the photo: “Meet Olivia Benson.”
According to Daily Mail, the cat is fluffy and white and just looks up at Swift with big blue eyes.
According to New York Daily News, the cat is named after Olivia Benson from Law and Order: Special Victim’s Unit. Olivia Benson is played by Mariska Hargitay.
Swift said in 2012 that she is a huge fan of the TV show. “That’s where I find my solace,” said Swift. Swift also said that she watches the show so often that she feels like she’s BFF’s with the characters.
Swift has another cat named Meredith, after Meredith Grey from the TV hit seris Grey’s Anatomy. She said she named Meredith this way, “because she’s a gray cat and I love Grey’s Anatomy!”
Meredith has also made online appearances in a Vine video of Swift and the cat watching Titanic. She captioned the video: “At 9 p.m. I’m either on stage or doing this.”
