A 33-year-old woman teacher in Hill County, Texas is accused of having sex with her 14-year-old student.

The teacher, Chrystal Miller, had been mentoring the unnamed minor for a year.

When the young man became quiet and withdrawn, one of his parents became concerned, reported the Daily Mail.

Miller alleged sent the teen Facebook and text messages during the year she was
involved with him.

According to Waco Trib, the teen’s mother alerted police after her son showed her the messages exchanged.

“She had really groomed him over the course of a year,” said Deputy Mark Wilson.

Six weeks ago, Miller resigned from her job after deputies questioned her about the affair.

After learning about the arrest warrant, she turned herself in.

Wilson said the young man’s relationship with Miller had taken a toll when it became physical.

“Once it became physical, that’s when he started having problems. He became very withdrawn, very quiet, and he just wasn’t himself,” Wilson said.

On June 11, Miller was released on a $15,000.
