A transgender woman was found brutally murdered in Baltimore early Wednesday morning. The woman was the sister of Los Angeles Clippers player Reggie Bullock.

According to WJZ, Mia Henderson, 26, is the second transgender woman murdered in Baltimore this summer and there are fears that the two cases may be connected. Police did say that the body was found in West Baltimore, where they were serving a search warrant, but did not give WJZ further information.

Deadspin reports that Bullock took to Twitter to mourn the loss of his sister.

“All I can say is my brother showed me how to live your "OWN LIFE" love you soo much man. Gone but not forgotten #RIPKEVIN,” he wrote in one message. He later added, "...I sent the last LOVE YOU to my brother."

Police do not have a motive and did not release names of potential suspects, notes the Daily News.

Bullock played at the University of North Carolina and will be starting his second season with the Clippers this fall.
