Jessie J has collaborated with two well-known musical talents on the first single from her new album. Called “Bang Bang,” the new single will be released July 29.
“Bang Bang” will bring together the musical stylings of three of Republic Record’s biggest stars, mixing Jessie J’s style with the individual approaches of both Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande.
All three singers are famous in their own right. Jessie J has sold millions of albums worldwide, and her singles “Price Tag” and “Domino” were both hits. Nicky Minaj has the highest number of digital sales of any female hip-hop artist in history as reported by Broadway World and is well known for her songs “Superbass” and “Starships.” Though Ariana Grande has only released one album so far, her album debuted as #1 at the top of the BillboardTop 200 list, and her song “The Way” from her first album went double-platinum.
Along with being on Jessie J’s new album, set to be released in fall 2014, “Bang Bang” will also be featured on Grande’s second album, which comes out at the end of August. This sophomore album will also feature collaborations with Zedd,Childish Gambino and others, according to USA Today.
