Jamie Dimon, the CEO for JPMorgan, has reportedly revealed he has throat cancer.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Dimon provided a memo to the employees and shareholders for the banking company and informed them his cancer was curable and he he had been given an excellent prognosis.

He also reportedly revealed he would be going through eight weeks of chemotherapy, along with radiation, but he would still “be able to continue to be actively involved in our business.”

Dimon has been with JPMorgan since 2005 and helped the company through financial crisis, as well as obtaining two other banks after they had suffered collapse.

The New York Times reported his treatment will be held at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He revealed the information to his employees and the shareholders on Tuesday.

In the e-mail, he also revealed that his cancer was found not to have spread anywhere else on his body and the cancer was still contained on the right side of his neck.
