Fans upset with Kanye West for spending his time ranting instead of singing on stage Friday at London's Wireless Festival booed the controversial rapper.

During his first night at the festival, the "Black Skinhead" rapper took the stage wearing a bizarre bejeweled mask and went on a rant for 20 minutes mid-set, The Daily Mail reports. His ire was directed at the fashion industry.

"I'm not going to mention any names but ... Nike, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Don't discriminate against me 'cos I'm a black man making music," West told the audience. "F--- saving face and what it's supposed to mean, it's about living my dream."

According to WENN, West also ranted about his issues with the media, noting that "they've taken the idea of celebrity and tried to make me seem like I'm stupid or something."

Unsurprisingly fans were not at all happy about the rant, with one festivalgoer saying that "Hundreds of people left the [Finsbury] park early because they were so bored of his long rant."

Many took to Twitter to complain that the festival wasn't the right time or place to start whining about his problems with the fashion industry or the media and that he should have been singing.

This is the second time West has been booed in less than a month, as his return to the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival in June was less than heralded. He received a mixture of cheers and boos when he took the stage at the festival for the first time since 2008, where he had an infamously disastrous performance.

Hopefully West learned his lesson and will just sing on Saturday night at the festival.
