Warner Bros. made a slew of scheduling moves for the rest of the decade, but the focus in Hollywood was almost exclusively on those nine new untitled DC Comics projects the studio announced. However, there are two more mystery dates the studio set and there are two possibilities for them.

The first of the two “WB Event Films” listed on Box Office Mojo’s timetable is due out on Nov. 16, 2018. A second is scheduled for nearly two years later to the day, Nov. 20, 2020. There’s no clue as to what these may be, but it’s not too farfetched to think that they may be the new Harry Potter movies.

Back in May, Warner Bros. announced that the first Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them film would be out on Nov. 18, 2016. This new film will be set in the wizarding world J.K. Rowling created for Harry Potter, but won’t feature that character. Instead, it focuses on the ‘writer’ of the Fantastic Beasts book, Newt Scamander.

If that first film is still planned for Nov. 18, 2016, it’s easy to think that Warner Bros. is planning to release a new film every two years in that franchise.

The other option is the Dragonriders series. Last month, it was reported that the studio was in the very early stages of planning a franchise based on Anne McCaffrey's novels. It might be too early for the studio to start scheduling those films, though.

Warner Bros. also scheduled two animated films for release on May 25, 2018 and May 24, 2019. It’s easy to assume that these are dates for potential LEGO Movie sequels and/or spin-offs.
