MAGIC! continues their domination of the Billboard Hot 100 as “Rude” spend a fourth week in the top position, Sam Smith is poised to take the No. 1 spot, Meghan Trainor’s body-acceptance cracks the top 10 and Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj make it’s ‘banging’ debut.
According to Billboard, MAGIC! spends a fourth week at No.1 with “Rude” as the crown radio songs for the first time. However, Sam Smith made some major gain this week by leaping to the No. 2 spot. It’s anybody’s game next week.
“Fancy” by rap belle Iggy Azalea drops to No.3 this week; it’s the songs lowest ranking of the song in over 10 weeks. Nico and Vinz radio hit, “Am I Wrong,” is a non-mover at no. 4. Meanwhile, Ariana Grande boast the No. 5 and 6 spot with her hit “Problem” featuring Iggy Azalea (No.5) and the hot shot debut of the week, “Bang Bang”, which makes its first appearance at No.6 on the chart. Jessie J and Nicki Minaj are also leading artists on “Bang Bang” and the song also crowned Digital Songs in its debut week with 230,000 downloads in a week.
The rest of the top 10 are “Maps” by Maroon 5 at No.7, “Chandelier” by Sia at No.9, “Latch” by Disclosure and Sam Smith at No.10 and Meghan Trainor’s “All About the Bass” enters the top 10 at No. 8.
