Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and Jessie J will open the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards with a bang. The trio will perform their hit “Bang Bang” to open the show Sunday.

The network said that this will be the first time the trio will perform the song live. So, it will be an extra special moment for the audience at The Forum in Inglewood, California.

In addition, after the performance, the video for the track will finally premiere at the special BangGang.mtv.com site.

MTV also said that reality star Kim Kardashian and The Voice coach Gwen Stefani will be in attendance as presenters.

This week has already been a very busy one for Minaj and it’s only Wednesday. The rapper is preparing for the release of her new album with the release of the racy video for “Anaconda.”

The most-nominated artist for the VMAs is Beyonce, who is up for eight awards. Iggy Azalea and Eminem are up for seven each. Beyonce will also perform and will pick up the Vanguard Award. Sam Smith and Taylor Swift will also perform.
