Sandra Bullock is still trying to find a role to follow-up her Oscar nominated performance in Gravity, but she may have finally found it. She has reportedly signed on to star in Our Brand Is Crisis, a Warner Bros. political drama that David Gordon Green will direct.

The studio has finally greenlit the project, reports Variety, and with that, Bullock has finally been attached to it. She was actually linked to Our Brand Is Crisis back in December 2013, at the height of the awards season. However, it wasn’t until now that the actress finally committed to it.

Insiders for Variety said that Bullock met with Green (Pineapple Express, Joe). After having discussing the film with him, she was sold on it.

Bullock’s Gravity co-star George Clooney is producing with his frequent producing partner Grant Heslov under their Smokehouse Pictures shingle. Bullock will also executive produce. The script, which centers on U.S. political campaign experts working in South America, was written by Peter Straughan.

While Bullock ended up not doing Sony’s Annie remake, she is still working with that studio on a film about the businesswoman who created Tupperware parties.

The actress has an Oscar thanks to The Blind Side and is now the highest paid Hollywood actress after Gravity.
