The popular boy band, 5 Seconds of Summer, has now claimed the number one spot on Billboard’s 200 album chart. Weird Al Yankovic was at the top with his album Mandatory Fun but was soon kicked off by the boy band’s self-titled album. As we have previously reported, 5 Seconds of Summer now has the best group act debut since Daughtry’s 2006 self-titled album. Some more big 5 Seconds of Summer news is that the band has announced their first headlining North America tour. The tour will be called Rock Out With Your Socks Out and you can find more information on the tour on their Facebook page.

For The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Pop star Lorde covered Tears for Fears’ song “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” Now she is writing her own song for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1. Along with that, she will also be picking the artists and songs that will be heard in the movie as we previously reported. Part one of Mockingjay will be released November 21.

The Princess of pop, Beyoncé, along with Nicki Minaj released a remix to Beyoncé’s song “Flawless.” In the new remix, Beyoncé goes over the elevator brawl between her sister and her husband while Minaj talks about the alleged killing of Michael Jackson by his own doctor as we previously reported. Minaj reported to BET that she had to push back her new single “Anaconda” on the count of working on the “Flawless” remix with Beyoncé.

On Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, MAGIC!’s song “Rude” is at the top keeping Iggy Azalea’s (along with Charlie XCX) song “Fancy” at No. 2. While Azalea and MAGIC! are fighting for the top spot, Sia’s hit “Chandelier” makes its way to No. 9 as we previously reported. This is Sia’s first solo debut on the Hot 100. Will “Rude” stay on top or will this new comer take over?
