A trailer was released Wednesday for the biopic of brilliant-minded Stephen Hawking: The Theory of Everything.
Much of the film focuses on Hawking in his years at Oxford in the 1960's, and his relationship with his first wife, Jane Hawkins.
Stephen Hawking, 72, is an exceptionally bright physicist and cosmologist, whose theories caused breakthroughs in the scientific fields. His most memorable works include gravitational singularity theorems, and his predictions on black hole radiation. He also introduced a new view of cosmology, which collaborated the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics.
The pic is actually based off Jane's 2007 memoir, "Traveling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen", CBS News reports. The book has been well-acclaimed, with positive reviews and a four-star rating on Amazon.
Stephen will be played by Les Miserables actor Eddie Redmayne, and wife Jane by Felicity Jones from The Amazing Spiderman 2.
The John Marsh directed film is a blend of Hawking's scientific breakthroughs, the emergence of his crippling sickness and the power of love between Jane and Stephen.
The definite tear-jerker is set for release in select theaters on Nov. 7.
