It’s been a long road for John Rambo, but Sylvester Stallone plans to walk it one last time. Stallone will direct and star in Rambo: Last Blood.

ComingSoon.net broke the news, saying that the grizzled vet will be in one last film. The site’s information regarding the title of the film was provided by the user “nopr100.”

While plot details are unknown, Slashfilm noted that several possible story ideas have been considered for the fifth Rambo film for years. Originally, the story was set to revolve around human trafficking. Later developments indicated that Stallone was attempting to adapt James Byron Huggins’ novel Hunter, which would team Rambo up with Spec Ops forces to kill a genetically modified beast.

Whatever the plot may be, Stallone is preparing to film. We reported back in August that Stallone had started training for a fifth Rambo film. The Expendables star originally didn’t want to do another film in the franchise, although he later changed his mind, saying that he was dying to do another.

The last installment of the franchise, simply titled Rambo, earned $113.2 million on a $50 million budget.
