Jurassic Park fans have been dying to see a trailer for Jurassic World since the movie was announced last year. Now, it looks like we have an idea of when we'll be able to see our first footage from the film.

According to JurassicWorld.org,, the trailer for the film will be attached to The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. This is updated from a previous rumor that the trailer would premiere much earlier, being shown before Interstellar. That would have meant getting a look at footage from the movie in about two weeks.

However, it's possible we still might see the trailer before the Hobbit premiere. On Twitter, JoBlo.com editor and chief Paul Shirey said he's heard the trailer will premiere much sooner than December and that it will premiere online.

Either way, it seems that we now will be getting some Jurassic World footage on Dec. 17 at the latest, with the possibility of an online premiere before then.

For a movie coming out this June, Jurassic World has been surprisingly restrained in terms of its marketing. Rumors and apparent descriptions of the trailer have been surfacing, but the only official promotion we have from the studio is a teaser poster and a few images of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. We have still not gotten any official look at any of the dinosaurs in the film.

We do however know a fair amount about the plot of the film, which will take place 22 years after Jurassic Park and feature a fully functioning theme park, as we previously reported.

The film will be directed by Colin Trevorrow and star Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. It is set to release on June 12, 2015.
